Hangover Cure
100g
Information:
When looking to alleviate the symptoms of a hangover, certain herbs and spices are believed to help. We've got a hangover remedy that won't turn your stomach anymore than it already is.
Let's break down how each of these ingredients relates to potential hangover relief:
- Tomato is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, including vitamin C and lycopene. They can help replenish nutrients lost during alcohol consumption and support liver function.
- Ginger is well-known for its anti-nausea properties and ability to soothe the stomach. It can help alleviate nausea and indigestion, which are common symptoms of a hangover.
- Beets contain compounds that support liver health and detoxification.
- Hibiscus tea is rich in antioxidants and may help reduce inflammation. It can also aid in hydration, which is important for alleviating hangover symptoms.
- Cinnamon is believed to help stabilize blood sugar levels, which can fluctuate after alcohol consumption. Maintaining stable blood sugar levels may help reduce fatigue and dizziness associated with a hangover.
- Cardamom has digestive properties and may help relieve bloating and indigestion.
- Pepper contains piperine, which has been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It may help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress caused by alcohol consumption.
- Cloves have been traditionally used to alleviate nausea and digestive discomfort.
- Nutmeg has been used in traditional medicine to aid digestion and alleviate gastrointestinal issues.
The incorporation of these ingredients into Hangover Cure blend may provide a combination of hydration, liver support, digestive relief, and antioxidant protection, which can collectively help alleviate hangover symptoms.

Hot Brewing Method
Hot Brewing Method
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea in 8oz / 237ml cup
Pour the boiling water into cup, cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
Iced Tea Pitcher
Iced Tea Pitcher
Place 6 slightly heaping teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the tea. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Quarter fills a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the tea. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to increase the strength of hot brew since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.
